Picking a wedding outfit
Summer means one thing – wedding season is here!
As fun as attending a wedding can be, we all go through that stressful experience of finding the ideal outfit.
To make your search go without a hitch, we have gathered some useful tips on nailing your wedding-summer look.
Consider the venue; the location, whether it is an out or indoor ceremony, and whether it will be an all-day or evening celebration.
Writing a list of things you need is guaranteed to make the shopping experience as easy and pleasant as possible.
Stick to your budget
Every wedding is different, so even if you can reuse some outfits there always seems to be something missing. Do not get distracted by big luxurious brands and expensive stores; vintage stores have loads of hidden gems. Retailers such as All Saints, Jaeger, Ted Baker and Kurt Geiger offer nice formal outfits and accessories at decent and affordable prices.
There is no rule saying you /have/ to wear a dress. For an on-trend look try out smart trousers, jumpsuits, combos and skirts. Two-peace outfits also increase the chances of mixing and matching for future occasions (your budget will thank you). Do try to stick to the theme or dress code is there is one.
Sticking to neutral and good quality accessories means you are able to wear them on any occasions. Especially nude or soft pastel colours are great additions to any look.
Not a fan of hats? No problem - you can always opt for a cute headband, or nothing - do what makes you feel comfortable.
